First and foremost, why "peanut"? Well...random I am afraid. It’s a fun and non-sense name
that’s easy to remember! I don't have a particular fondness for peanuts, but I don’t dislike
them either. My wife liked the name, and that was a big plus, so it was more than enough reason
to go with it.
Now, you might be wondering why I would spend my time creating this website. After all, I have a
PhD in engineering! The truth is, like many engineers, I love creating things. Some of my
predecessors enjoyed building physical objects; I enjoy building virtual ones. It’s fun, fast,
and I can do it from the comfort of my bedroom while constantly challenging my mind.
After practicing for a while in scientific work with MATLAB and Python, I decided to dive into
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I got carried away with one of the assignments, and that’s how this
website was born. The random generators out there are often cheap, poorly designed, and not very
user-friendly. So, I thought, why not show the world how a random generator can be both
good-looking and fun?
